NEJ in Beacon Falls, CT is looking for a highly motivated freelance Graphic Designer to bring new ideas to the NEJ, Inc. and Retail 101 existing brands and upgrade creative content for the print and online presence, including ads, promotional announcements/events and marketing communications.  Proven expertise in demonstrating creativity and uniqueness in their work should be evident in their creative samples.  This is an on-site freelance role and the duration of the project has yet to be determined.  The hourly rate is DOE.

To perform this job successfully, the Graphic Designer must have the following skills, experience and abilities:

·     3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in apparel or product design

·     Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is expected)

·     Understanding of digital design work – gifs, web design, social content

·     demonstrated experience in formulating graphic designing solutions

·     Strong communications, organizational and time management skills

·     Project management and multitasking abilities

·     Proactive, self-starter who is able to work independently

·     Positive work ethic; positive team player

·     Submissions must include samples
